Pau "Big Bird" Gasol
Buttheadsports.com sources are confirming the rumor that Pau Gasol actually sustained his hamstring injury while acting on the set of the popular TV series CSI:Miami. Pau played the role of “Victor” an innocent driver that gets into a car accident. Although many thought that the hamstring was pulled while he was playing the corpse in the morgue and then abruptly got up after the director yelled “Cut!” , that has proved to be untrue as he is not Greg Oden (tore his meniscus after getting up off the couch). The real story is that Pau’s acting was so bad that his body reacted violently to what it thought was some kind of foreign substance poisoning. In an attempt to prevent himself from doing any further harm, Pau’s immune system attacked his hamstring to limit his movement and put an end to this horrid experience. Producers took advantage of this to put in the morgue scene as Gasol was immobilized, thus creating the confusion about the cause of the injury.
